CHAC to hold next meeting on March 4

FLAGSTAFF — The Coconino County Hispanic Advisory Council (CHAC) will hold its next meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 at the Coconino County Administration Building, second floor conference room, 219 E. Cherry Ave., Flagstaff, Arizona.

* Time, location subject to change. Notice of changes will be posted 24 hours prior to meeting.

CHAC serves as an official liaison and communications link between the Hispanic community and the Coconino County Board of Supervisors, so please bring any concerns you may have about equal education opportunities, fair employment, juvenile justice, political representation and other issues.

CHAC to present College & Career Resource Fair on March 7

The College & Career Resource Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at Killip Elementary School, 2300 E. 6th Ave., Flagstaff. The fair is open to parents, high school students and interested community members. Information will be presented on preparing youth for summer jobs, internships, job shadowing, vocational opportunities, high-school-to-college transition, scholarships and financial aid. The fair will include workshops, panel presentations and information tables. Free admission to all. More information to come. Presented by the Coconino Hispanic Advisory Council.
