CHAC concludes busy summer of 2023

Members of the Coconino Hispanic Advisory Council (CHAC) took part in a number of activities during the summer of 2023.

Events included:

CHAC shared information at the inaugural Celebracíon de NAU held on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023 at the Field House at Northern Arizona University. CHAC members Sedrick Cap and Frank Moraga staffed the CHAC information table at the sold out Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias show held Aug. 25, 2023 at the Pepsi Amphitheatre at Fort Tutill, Flagstaff.

CHAC held its first in-person meeting since the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic during a tour of the new Killip Elementary School in Flagstaff on Aug. 2, 2023. Members attending the meeting included President Patty Garcia, Vice President Jose Diaz Aquino, Katie Mommaerts, Frank Moraga, Miguel Vasquez and Sedrick Cap. Also attending the tour by Killip Principal Joe Gutierrez were District 2 Supervisor Jeronimo Vasquez and Coconino County Diversity Councils Coordinator Areina Contreras.
